If you've been at any fishing shows in the last 20 years, then you know "GIZMO" and the amazing story of his discovery for aiding downrigger fishermen. But who is he?

"GIZMO" House came into the world in a farmhouse in rural South Dakota.  He was named Merlin House at birth, and rightly so.  The magic of a Merlin must have been in his blood.  Merlin, of fable, was supposed to be a renowned fisherman, full of the secrets of lakes and seas.  Merlin House carried that dream out and found a simply magical way to make fishing more fun and more exciting in one simple discovery. 

"GIZMO" served in the U.S. Army and has been married to wife Tillie for 30 years.  He now lives in California.  And fishing?  Well, he's been at the end of a line looking for the big ones for more years than most folks can count.  And if you see him out on the boat, you know he's got a GIZMO, gettin' down to where the big ones are!
